Wow, so excited to host our upcoming Spring Farm to Table Dinner on April 18th.  Roots catering is partnering with us and has prepared an amazing menue (see below), featuring our delicious pastured chickens and local farm produce!  It will be a fun night of delicious food, friends and fun.  Gather at the barn and meet owners Mike and Lori Diefenbach. Enjoy locally brewed beer by Concord Brewing Co. or a glass of wine from Carolina Heritage Vineyard (North Carolina’s first organic vineyard) as you head out for a walking tour of Green Omnivore Farm at The Lodge!

See the stables and tour the treehouse on your way to visit our heritage breed American Guinea Hogs.  You will also see our latest batch of free-ranging heritage laying chicks and our hand-started, pasture-raised Cornish Cross meat chickens.  Check out our European Honey Bees and raised-bed garden plans!

Back at the Barn, to the amazing backdrop of acoustic guitar by Seth Snider, accompanied by violinist Jade Valcarcel, the team at Roots (rootsfarmfood.com) will serve a feast of chicken from our farm with locally sourced farm produce…
