At the end of the program, however, you are more than welcome to apply for a position here at The Lodge!
will i be paid?
Yes, an 8-week internship pay can range from $600-$1000 dollars, depending on the hours worked and your personal skill level. As this is a part-time internship, you will be working briefly during the week but please keep in mind that you will be required to work nights and weekends at our events.
Once you have applied, we will send you a work schedule and estimated pay for the Internship Program you have chosen.
what are the requirements?
Whether you are a student or have been out of school for years, we would love for you to be a part of our team. We would prefer experience in the hospitality/service industry, but all we truly require is a good work ethic, a great upbeat attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
what will i be doing?
DESIGN & DECOR
Not only do we currently operate two wedding venues, but we are home to our very own design center. Help us coordinate design appointments with our brides - where they choose their wedding decor - and then assist with setting up decor on the day of the wedding.
Work with our head wedding coordinators to learn all the in-and-outs of day-of coordination. Help manage a wedding rehearsal, coordinate wedding vendors, and much more.
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING
Work one-on-one with our marketing manager to learn how to promote the business, blog, and manage a small business on all the major marketing platforms. Also learn the basics about web design and management!
ADMINISTRATIVE & ACCOUNTING
Take a behind-the-scenes look at our company and learn all the details about how to run a small business. From organization and logistics to basic business etiquette, you'll learn it all.
